WAGE WAR WITH WORSHIP

I heard the Spirit of God say, “Wage war with worship.” When I prayed more into this I felt the Lord was saying worship is one of the important keys at this time to combat what the enemy is trying to steal. John 10:10 – The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy.

I also had a vision of the people of God. The people were standing still and they were crying out to God in desperation saying, “Don’t leave me the same!” Their prayer was that the Lord would work in and through them in a mighty way and they would be left radically changed. Then I saw them take a step forward and as they did they didn’t just take a normal size step they leaped into the air and took a huge step forward, landing far ahead of where they had been. It was as if one step was the size of a football field in distance. I believe God is aligning and positioning things in the spirit in this season and people will then step into their destiny. They will suddenly advance in the spirit and will see the Lord work in their lives in ways they couldn’t even have dreamed or imagined (Ephesians 3:20).

As this is a critical time in the spirit where people are being aligned and positioned into their destiny and the purposes and plans God has for them, the enemy is working against this. He is trying to bring confusion and lies so people are unsure if they are hearing from the Lord and what direction to take. The enemy is attempting to steal peace. We need to be led by the Holy Spirit and led by peace.

When we enter into worship we focus on God which correctly aligns our thoughts and allows God to bring inner peace, strength and healing. It is described as humbling ourselves in an act of reverence. Worship opens up a clear channel so we can hear the Lord speaking to us. As we draw near to Him, He draws near to us (James 4:8). Every moment of every day is to be an act of worship to God. God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality) – John 4:24. Worship should reflect the fruit of the Spirit and also biblical doctrine. We worship Him from our inner man or spirit. Worship is the giving of our entire self to God’s use. All of life is an act of submission, of worship.

In this critical time add worship to your combat arsenal. Also, the Lord is calling us to be true worshippers; those who give everything for Him and His use.
