The fog is lifting to bring greater clarity
At the start of this year the Lord told me it was a year of ‘increased and focused vision’. In the first couple of months of the year many of the people of God received vision and revelation of new assignments the Lord was leading them to steward this year and vision of the next step in their destiny. The Lord then showed me this month many have had their vision clouded as the enemy has brought an attack on the vision and revelation they received. Be encouraged this coming month will see the fog lift and even greater clarity of vision and greater detail of revelation will be released as the attack of the enemy is broken.
In a vision I saw heavenly scrolls had been released into the hands of many people and the scrolls contained details of the path ahead. I then saw a fog come and surround people which clouded their vision and this caused the people to lay down the scrolls. I saw the scrolls outlining the assignments they were to steward were stamped ‘mission aborted’ as they were laid aside. As the people rose up, used their weapons, and took steps forward in faith, they cut through the fog, and the haze around them lifted. They took hold of the scrolls with increased focus and I then saw they were stamped ‘mission reactivated’ as they boldly stepped into all the Lord had planned for them.
I heard the Lord say, “The fog of confusion released by the enemy to limit the vision of My people and prevent them from stepping boldly into the plans I have for them is lifting as My people press in to Me in worship and prayer and use the sword of the Spirit to cut through the fog. Don’t abort the mission for the mission was from Me. Instead, take up the scroll of revelation and wait on Me for the strategy to implement the assignment I have called you to steward. Don’t look through the haze of the fog for it is distorting your vision of what I have prepared for you to walk in. Instead, first cut through the fog then look ‘anew’, look afresh on what lies before you. I am calling you to look with new eyes – faith filled eyes and heavenly perspective.”
The Lord gave me three steps for this time to break through the fog and receive the increased clarity that awaits. Each of these steps contains the word ‘anew’ and this word resounded loudly in my spirit as the Lord spoke to me. To look anew means to look again, to look afresh or to look in a new or different way.
Look ‘anew’ at the fog
The Lord is calling you to see the fog for what it is – an attack from the enemy. The enemy has brought confusion to attempt to cloud the vision you had received for all the Lord wants you to walk in. God is not the God of confusion. He wants to release a new level of clarity and increased revelation to you so you may step boldly into all He has prepared.
1 Corinthians 14:33 (ESV) – For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) – For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
The Lord is calling you to cut through the fog using the weapons of the sword of the Spirit, your authority in Him and worship. We are seated in heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 2:6) and our seating and reigning with Christ is a position of authority. Jesus has given us authority to operate in His name and the word of God tells us we have all power over the enemy. God is calling us to use our authority to bind the schemes of the enemy.
Matthew 28:18-19 (TPT) – Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All the authority of the universe has been given to me. Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
Luke 10:19 (ESV) – Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
Matthew 16:19 (ESV) – I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
In this critical time add worship to your arsenal. When we enter into worship we focus on God and encounter Him and it opens up a clear channel to hear His voice. Make each moment of the day an act of worship to God as we are called to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:23-24 (ESV) – But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
Look ‘anew’ at the path before you
The Lord is inviting you to rise up in faith and see the path before you with faith filled eyes. The Lord is taking you to a higher level of trust in Him, knowing He is ordering your steps. He is calling you to rest in who He is and to trust in His faithfulness. He is calling you to have faith to believe what He has spoken about the path ahead, even if all the pieces are not yet in place.
The Lord gave me a vision of a path before His people and the pieces on the path were slotting together like jigsaw puzzle pieces. I could see many people already had some of the pieces of revelation in place and I knew this meant they had received some revelation on the path ahead but they were waiting for the additional pieces. I then saw extra pieces on the path were released by the Lord and they were slotting into place, but what the Lord was highlighting to me was that He was moving the pieces into place. It was not through striving but from a place of surrender and rest that God’s people were advancing. There is a caution from the Lord not to make the pieces on the path fit together through striving or our own strength, but to instead surrender to His timing, knowing He will align the path before us. It is not by might, nor by power but by His Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 (ESV) – Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) – Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all you ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Psalm 46:10 (NASB) – “Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Look ‘anew’ at the scroll to receive greater revelation
As the fog lifts, the Lord is going to bring even greater clarity and revelation on the assignment and next step in your destiny than you have previously received. The timing of when to step into it may not be now, but in the months to come. Be led by the Spirit and by peace. He is inviting you to look anew at the assignment. Press in to Him for greater detail of what He is asking you to steward. Be mindful of your dreams and write them down as dreams are one of the ways the Lord will speak to you and give you confirmation on details pertaining to the assignment.
Colossians 3:15 (TPT) – Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful, overflowing with gratitude for your life-union with Christ.
Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV) – Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
Romans 8:14 (TPT) – The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.
There has been an intense and strategic attack of the enemy on your vision which has brought doubt and confusion but greater clarity and revelation is coming as the attack is broken.
