In this time of transition for many to the next step of their destiny, God is challenging the mindsets and ways of His people in order to bring greater alignment with His ways and heart. He is calling His people to greater surrender and greater steps of obedience in order to position and prepare them for all He will bring forth in the time ahead as the Lord is taking people into areas they have not been before. He is looking for those who will walk in radical obedience as their trust in Him is unshakable.

 

I saw the Lord asking many of His people to step out in greater ways than they had every stepped out before. He was testing their trust in Him and their obedience as the territory He was leading them into in the time ahead would require radical obedience. What the Lord was asking of them was stretching them and required greater surrender. The steps of obedience were uncomfortable and required great sacrifice but those who took the steps walked on a path of close partnership with the Lord and saw great acceleration into the next chapter of their destiny.

 

Invitation to walk in radical obedience –

 

I heard the Lord say, “I have always called My people to radical obedience. This is obedience that is complete, lacking no component of the strategy I give and does not deviate from the strategy. This is obedience that at times confronts mindsets and natural ways as it is based on My ways. This is the key that unlocks radical breakthrough and radical reward.”

 

Radical obedience will lead to taking of kingdom territory –

 

The Lord went on to say, “I am taking My people into areas they have not been before and much territory will be taken for My kingdom in the time ahead. In order for them to take this territory they will need to take steps of radical obedience as these steps will be larger than they have ever taken before. They will be able to take such steps as their faith and trust in Me was strengthened and increased in the last season in preparation for this time. Closer partnership with Me requires deeper trust which then produces greater obedience.”

 

Radical obedience unlocks breakthrough –

 

The Lord then said, “It is a time where I am confronting minds and moving hearts into action. Radical obedience is the springboard that will launch My people into the new territory I have for them. It is the key that unlocks My plans. Breakthrough awaits those who embrace My strategy on the leading of My Spirit.”

 

Exposing blockages to walking in radical obedience –

 

I then heard the Lord say, “Radical obedience is complete obedience, including adhering to My timing. Many forfeit the fullness I desire to bring as their delayed obedience shows their heart is not completely aligned with Mine. There is a blockage and area they have not yet surrendered. I am shining the light on these areas in order for people to repent and change their ways for My desire is for them to walk in complete surrender and obedience and the fullness of the blessing and plans I have for them.”

 

Radical obedience leads to radical reward –

 

The Lord then said, “Every good and perfect gift comes from above. I desire to give gifts to My children. Reward comes to those who walk in obedience. My reward isn’t man’s reward for My ways are higher. A season of reward, abundance and fruitfulness is ahead for those who take the invitation to walk in radical obedience.”

 

Opposition to radical obedience –

 

I then heard the Lord say, “There will be those who criticize and ridicule you for these acts and steps of radical obedience for they do not have eyes to see all I am doing. Don’t be moved, but instead know that you have heard My voice, and follow only My voice. I will confirm the way to you and I will bring confirmation through others. There is sacrifice involved in radical obedience but the spiritual gain is far greater than the cost. The enemy will attempt to bring obstacles to prevent you from taking the steps of obedience I will call you to so be watchful, discern the ways of the enemy and move only on My leading.”

 

 

Galatians 5:25 (ESV) – If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

Romans 8:14 (ESV) – For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Isaiah 30:21 (ESV) – And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Luke 11:28 (ESV) – But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

James 1:22 (ESV) – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Psalm 119:112 (ESV) – I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end.

Psalm 119:2-5 (ESV) – Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!

2 John 1:6 (ESV) – And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments.
