When I was worshiping I had a vision of Australia. In this vision I was looking down on a vast area of land with red, dusty plains and I knew the land was Australia. I saw the dry, red dust billowing up in front of me. My view then changed and I was looking down on the land from way above it. I saw a liquid being poured out from heaven onto the land. I knew the liquid was oil. A huge amount of oil was falling onto the centre of Australia and where it was hitting the ground, it was forming a well. The ground was opening up and a deeper and deeper well was forming as more and more of the oil was poured out. I noticed there was such a huge amount of oil in the well. I asked the Lord why He was pouring out oil and forming an oil well instead of pouring out water (which is what I had expected to see in a well) and He said, “I am pouring out new oil, the oil of joy on this land.” I noticed that the land around the well was turning from red, dusty plains to lush, green fields. The fields were spreading across more and more of the land. Oil was hitting the dusty plains and healing and transforming the land. I then saw people coming to this deep well with buckets and they were filling their buckets with the oil. At first only a few people were coming to the well but then multitudes were coming. People of every area, race and age were coming. I knew people could come back again and again to the well and I knew that was what the Lord wanted and intended for them to do. I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “My oil does not run dry.” The verse from 2 Chronicles 7:14 came into my mind at this moment – “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

 

I believe the Lord is pouring out the oil of joy on Australia. There is an abundant and never ending amount of this oil available. The Lord wants us to drink in the joy on offer. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). He wants us to keep drinking it in and keep being filled with more of His Spirit. Acts 13:52 – ‘And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.’ I believe Australia will see a new move of the Spirit which will transform our land and with it there will be much joy released. We will need to stand in unity together. We will need to humble ourselves, pray, earnestly seek the Lord and seek righteousness. I believe the Lord is turning people back to righteousness and holiness. Romans 14:17 says ‘For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.’ People from all areas and of all ages will be part of this move of the Holy Spirit. We will need to be open to the new way the Spirit will move.

 

May we mark ourselves for revival, seek righteousness, stand in unity as one body of Christ and surrender all to partnering with the Holy Spirit in seeing Australia awakened and in seeing a new move of the Spirit sweep across this land. May Australia truly be the great south land of the Holy Spirit.
