As I sat down to ask the Lord what message was on His heart to release to the body of Christ I heard the still, small voice of God say, “Know My heart.” The words were simple but carried so much weightiness and importance. These words are an invitation to His people but also a strategy of great importance for this time as knowing the heart of God is fundamental to the unlocking of the path set before us. This is the era of the heart and the Lord is searching the hearts of His people and looking for those who have hearts aligned with Him and therefore walk in His ways. He is igniting the hearts of His people and transforming lives. These ignited ones are then igniting others with the power of His love. This is the era of great healing of the hearts of individuals as well as those in families and kingdom families. The Lord is also shining the light on the heart of nations and healing will be seen in nations where the Spirit is moving and God’s people are rising up to answer His call to partner with Him to see transformation in their region.

 

The path to God’s heart is the path of unlocking –

 

I heard the Lord say, “This is the era where My people will encounter My heart like never before. Those who seek Me encounter Me. Those who encounter My heart are transformed. The path to My heart is the path of unlocking for as My people encounter My heart, the path of freedom, wholeness, true identity and destiny awaits them. The path to My heart is one of unlocking for as My people align with My heart, I will unlock the greater destiny I have for them as they walk in close partnership with Me. As they align with My heart I can entrust them with more as they walk the path I have prepared in love and steward the assignments I give them from a platform of love.”

 

Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV) – You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

1 Corinthians 16:14 (ESV) – Let all that you do be done in love.

 

Those who encounter God’s heart, walk in His ways –

 

“Those who encounter and align with My heart then walk in My ways, for as their heart is transformed, so too are their actions. From the heart flows the springs of life and as their heart is transformed their life is transformed. Their life becomes an act of worship to Me. They walk in love and their steps display My love to others.”

 

Proverbs 4:23 (ESV) – Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

Ephesians 5:2 (ESV) – And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

2 John 1:6 (ESV) – And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.

 

Era of the heart –

 

“This is the era of the heart for I am raising up those who are pure in heart and who carry My heart message for this hour. This is the era where My people will radically encounter My heart, and as they do, their whole lives will be radically transformed. They will encounter the magnitude and power of My love. I am setting hearts on fire. I am igniting My people with the power of My love. Many have heralded the message of the power of My Spirit and the truth of My word but in this era the power of My love will be the message of the hour for ALL three elements (My truth, power and love) are needed for real transformation. Those that have been transformed by all three, and who walk in all three, are those that I will use in a powerful way in this era for they carry My full message.”

 

Matthew 5:8 (ESV) – Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Ephesians 3:18 (TPT) – Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences – the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding – this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

 

Return to the heart of the word –

 

“I am love and I will confront many with the truth of My word on love in this hour for I am bringing My people back to the truth. I am calling them back to their first love. I am calling them to walk in love. I am calling them to rediscover My foundational message of love. I am highlighting My word for it is My desire for My people to realign with My word. I am a merciful God and I am calling My people to repentance where they have gone astray and calling them back to the truth of My word so they may know My heart and walk in My ways. I will cause My word to come alive to My people and as they embrace My word they will encounter My heart and My message. As they walk out My word on love, they will see its’ transformational power.”

 

John 15:12 (ESV) – This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

1 John 4:8 (ESV) – Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Colossians 3:14 (ESV) – And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

John 13:35 (ESV) – By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

1 Corinthians 13:1-2 (ESV) – If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

 

Healing of hearts –

 

“I came to bring abundant life. Many of My people have deep heart wounds and areas of the heart that need to be made whole in order for them to walk in the abundant life I purchased for them. In this new era many will receive great healing of their heart and healing of relationships. As a sign of the era I am coming to bring great healing to the hearts of My people as they allow My Spirit to do a deep work in them. Many will see healing and restoration of relationships in this era. Where My people have stood in faith, and are willing to embrace the transformational work I wish to do in their hearts, they will see a divine turnaround come to their marriages, family relationships and kingdom relationships. Just as I am drawing My people to deeper relationship with Me, so too many will see Me bring their natural relationships into a place of deeper trust and love. Watch as I supernaturally work in marriages, families and kingdom families.”

 

John 10:10 (ESV) – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Psalm 147:3 (TPT) – He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.

 

The heart of nations –

 

“Not only will you see transformation of the heart of individuals and families but I will also move on the heart of nations for I also desire to bring alignment and healing to nations. I am exposing the heart of nations so that which is not of Me is brought into the light and a course correction can occur on the back of repentance, intercession and alignment with My word and ways. Healing is a sign of the work of My Spirit and nations that will see healing come to the very foundations of their nation are those where My Spirit is moving and My people are rising up in prayer and intercession. These nations will see deep wounds and divisions healed by My hand. I am looking for those who will boldly stand on My promise to bring healing to their land for this is the era in which I will heal the heart of nations.”

 

2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV) – If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

 

 

May you hear the still, small voice of the Lord whispering to you today to ‘know His heart’ in this era where the Lord is shining the light on the heart.
