IT’S TIME TO RUN AND ROAR!
When I was in worship I heard the Spirit of God say, “It’s time to run and roar!”
It’s Time To Run-
I saw Jesus as the Lion of the tribe of Judah and He showed me a vision of footsteps and I knew the footsteps represented the path before many believers. The footsteps had been ordered by the Lord and I knew He had gone ahead and prepared the way. (Deuteronomy 31:8, Psalm 37:23) The Lion of the tribe of Judah told me to look at the footsteps and as I did I noticed that the distance between the footsteps began to lengthen. The footsteps just ahead were further apart from each other. I knew this was because the people would be running and their stride would be longer. The Lord spoke to me and said, “My people are about to run! There have been many who have been walking in My ways and in the power of My Spirit but now they will run. They have surrendered all to me and they have been prepared for this very time. They have stewarded what they have been given well and now I am entrusting them with more. They know who they are in Me and they understand their Kingdom authority and position.”
I had a sense that it was a time of advancement and propulsion forward for many people as they began to ‘run’ in the things of God. The Lord was giving greater responsibility and greater assignments to people who had been obedient to His leading. These people had been in a time of preparation and now His timing had come for them to be entrusted with more. They had developed in the knowledge and understanding of their identity in Christ and they were secure in their relationship with Him. They trusted and loved the Lord wholeheartedly. What they had learnt in their season of preparation would be the foundation for the coming season.
It’s Time To Roar –
The Lion of the tribe of Judah then showed me these believers who were about to run and I saw they were standing with such authority and boldness. They looked fearless and seemed to have such a focus on the path ahead. I heard the Lord say, “My people will roar with boldness from on high and they will take ground for My Kingdom.” The scripture ‘greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world’ (1 john 4:4) and ‘the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you’ (Romans 8:11) and ‘He gives the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power’ (2 Timothy 1:7) were brought to my mind. I saw the Lion of the Tribe of Judah roaring through these people. The Lion had gone ahead of them and the people of God were focused on where He was leading them. These believers were secure in their understanding of their Kingdom authority and position and the Word of God was the foundation on which they stood. I saw these people as warriors and they had taken up the sword of the Spirit and were wielding the sword with power. They were using the Word of God to defeat the enemy. These believers had grown in the ways of the Lord and in moving in the power of the Holy Spirit in the previous season of preparation. These believers had a great level of boldness which was going to give them great impact for the Kingdom of God as they moved into the new assignments the Lord was giving them.
The ‘roar’ of the people of God was linked to their ‘run’ – as God’s people were moving from walking to running in the ways of God, they were also moving from standing to roaring over their situations and the over enemy. It’s time to run and roar!
