Psalm 34:18 – The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

The Lord showed me a vision of people of God with deep hurts. In some cases, these hurts were from a long time ago but had never been completely given over to the Lord and healed. Some hurts were so hidden and buried that the people didn’t even realise that these hurts were still hindering them and holding them back from stepping into the fullness and freedom the Lord wished to bring them.

 

I saw the hearts of different people. Some had cages around their heart and these cages were key locked as they were so shut down due to previous hurts. Some hearts had thorns deep within them where those people had been wounded and the hurts were still raw and causing pain. Others had hearts that had areas that were discoloured and dysfunctional. The wound of pain had stifled the life from their heart. I saw the hand of the Lord so lovingly and tenderly touch each of these hearts. The cages fell off, thorns were removed and the hearts returned to a vibrant colour, full of life. There was a divine exchange taking place as Jesus was exchanging their wounded hearts for one’s full of His life. As these new hearts were given and blood from the new heart pumped around the person’s body, I saw every cell of their body come alive. Their whole being was coming alive with the freedom, peace and joy the Lord was giving them. They had a new understanding of just how much they were loved by Jesus.

The Lord showed me that this healing of hearts occurred as these people of God were positioning themselves before Him and surrendering all as from that place He was revealing these hidden hurts to them. These hidden hurts were being healed as people humbled themselves and handed these over to Him knowing He was the only one who could bring healing and true liberty. These children of God were trusting in Him for their deliverance and healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Psalms 55:22 – Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Through intimate time with Jesus, He wants to reveal any inner hurts so these can be submitted to Him and healed so you can then walk in all the Lord has prepared for you with such hope, peace, freedom and joy. Jesus came to give us life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). The Lord wants you to look to the future, to the plans He has prepared for you. Isaiah 43:18 – Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. Colossians 3:2 – Set your minds on things above, not on things that are on earth. I feel the Lord is highlighting this now as there is much in store for His people and He wants you to be ready for all He has prepared ahead for you.
