In a vision I saw double doors before the people of God and on them were written the numbers 2020, which I knew represented the year 2020. I heard the Lord say, “Double doors stand before you.” These doors were not normal doors but were delivery room, hospital doors and I knew the Lord was showing me that the year 2020 would be like a delivery room as it would be a year of fulfilled promises. The Lord was not just highlighting the doors but the final steps to the doors, which I knew were the two weeks left in 2019.

 

Double week (2 weeks) remaining in 2019

 

This double week (2 week) period remaining in 2019 is a strategic time and the Lord is cautioning His people to realise the importance of the path to the delivery doors of 2020. It is not a time to relinquish territory to the enemy but to take territory from the enemy. The Lord strongly highlighted intercession to me as critical in these weeks. The Lord is cautioning His people to have eyes to see the strategic time and to see these couple of weeks as the time to accelerate into 2020. I saw that those who stood their ground in intercession and who took territory through intercession, and those who took strategic steps on the leading of the Spirit, were going to be in an advanced place as they started the year 2020. In the natural as a year draws to a close, we have a tendency to slow down and ‘wrap up’ the year but the Lord is saying spiritually it is not a time of slowing down, and wrapping up, but of strategic connection, positioning and acceleration to the delivery doors of 2020. The Lord is cautioning His people to not be in such a rush to see 2020 come that we miss the strategic time that is the weeks remaining in 2019. These weeks are like a bridge to 2020.

 

In the lead up to the double doors of 2020, the Lord showed me the following were keys for this time –

1. Diligence and intentionality – It will be important to be diligent and intentional about seeking the Lord during this time in order to move forward into the fullness of all the Lord has planned for 2020. It will be important to also stand in intercession against the schemes of the enemy that are attempting to bring distraction, doubt, and distortion of the plans the Lord has for us. Specifically, it will be important to use the sword of the Spirit to cut through the plans of the enemy and advance into all the Lord has planned.

2. Discernment and insight – It will be important to discern and see the plans of the enemy and to receive revelation on strategic steps to take at this time in order to be best positioned and aligned leading into 2020. Many will receive detailed dreams in these two weeks which will bring warning of the way the enemy is trying to pervert the path the Lord has for His people. Dreams will also bring clarification and confirmation on the way forward.

 

Double Expectancy for 2020

 

Just as there is great excitement and expectation as you approach the delivery room and the arrival of a newborn baby, so too there is great expectancy building in the spirit for all the Lord will do in 2020 as we partner with Him and see promises fulfilled. This excitement and expectation is not just for our individual lives but also for all the Lord will do across regions and nations as we see His plans and purposes come to pass. As the Lord releases more detailed revelation on all He is calling His people to steward in the time ahead, and increases their vision of the path ahead, their hope is being renewed and their faith is rising. The Lord is calling you to have great hope and expectation for all He will unfold in 2020.

 

Romans 15:13 (ESV) – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

 

Hebrews 10:23 (ESV) – Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

 

Double Field of Vision for 2020

 

I heard the Lord say, “Where there has been double vision there will now be double field of vision.” Where there has been confusion surrounding the path ahead and where there has been doublemindedness on the way forward and the steps to take due to the intense and strategic attack of the enemy, there will now be greatly expanded spiritual vision. The attack of the enemy on those who the Lord is strategically positioning and preparing for advancement has been intense in the last couple of months. Many have felt as though their vision of the way forward and the path ahead has been clouded and blurred, like they have double vision. The Lord is encouraging you that the attack of the enemy is being broken and where it has seemed difficult to see and hear which way the Lord is leading, there will now be clear direction on the way forward and the specific steps to take. It will not just be increased clarity of vision, but expanded field of vision so that you receive much greater spiritual sight on the path ahead. This will begin in these two remaining weeks of 2019 and will increase in 2020. There will also be greater revelation released in 2020 on the way the Lord is moving across the earth and how this aligns with His greater plans and purposes in this era.

 

Proverbs 29:18 (TPT) – When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.

 

Double Advancement and Harvest in 2020

 

In a vision I was shown a game board and the people of God were moving 2 spaces forward in 2020 on the path on the board, instead of single spaces. The Lord was showing me that those who have faithfully stewarded the assignments they have been given in the past will experience advancement in their destiny as the Lord opens doors of opportunity to them and expands their area of influence for Him beyond anything they have experienced before. The path the Lord has prepared for 2020 is one of advancement and fulfilled prophetic promises. Where you have reaped sparingly in the past for what has been sown, there will be abundant fruit and harvest in 2020 for it will be the season of harvest.

 

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) – To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

 

Galatians 6:9 (TPT) – And don’t allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming!

 

Psalm 126:5-6 (TPT) – Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessings and a harvest overflowing!

 

 

Realise the importance of the two weeks leading up to the double doors of 2020 and be diligent and discerning in this strategic time of aligning and positioning. Allow your hope to be renewed and your faith to rise for all the Lord will bring to pass in 2020 in the year of fulfillment, manifested promises and harvest.
