As I sat with the Lord recently He began to show me the intense battle many people have been in this season and then I heard Him say, “Breakthrough and bounty will follow the battle.” I felt such an encouragement from the Lord and I knew that while the battle has been intense, the Lord is working all things for good for His people, His justice will be seen and the Lord will reward those overcomers who have continued to stand in faith.

The Spiritual Battle

 

I heard the Lord say, “The spiritual battle has been intense for many of My people in this season but what the enemy meant for evil I am turning for good. I am training the hands of My people to war and their fingers to fight. Through the battle they have pressed in to Me and received strategies for victory over the enemy. Through the battle they have been given greater revelation of the authority and spiritual weapons they carry. Through the battle they have been given increased revelation on the tactics and schemes of the enemy. I have released great discernment to My people so they will identity and overcome the plans of the enemy.”

 

I saw the people of God emerging from the battle as elite warriors for Christ. They had gained so much knowledge and revelation in the battle season and their faith had matured. The Lord had trained them in spiritual warfare and they would be used by Him in greater ways in the season ahead.

 

Psalm 144:1-2 (NKJV) – Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle – my lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.

 

Love is a Weapon –

 

In a vision I saw the Lord uncovering spiritual weapons to His people. The people of God were realising the weapons they carried and the Lord was training them in the right and effective use of these weapons. One of the weapons that people were surprised to see was ‘love’. The Lord was showing His people that walking in love is a powerful weapon against the enemy.

 

Ephesians 5:2 (The Passion Translation) – Continue to walk surrendered to the extravagant love of Christ, for he surrendered his life as a sacrifice to us. His great love for us was pleasing to God, like an aroma of adoration – a sweet healing fragrance in heaven and earth.

Colossians 3:14 (NKJV) – But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

 

New Paths –

 

The Lord went on to say, “Discernment is key at this time as I am opening new pathways to My people in the months ahead and they need eyes to see the path I have for them. The enemy will try to bring distraction but those who spend time in My presence and move only on the leading of My Spirit will know which path is of Me. This path will lead to new opportunities, increase in spiritual assignments and advancement of My kingdom purposes.”

 

This is a very strategic time and the Lord is calling us to spend time in His presence to receive wisdom and revelation on the path ahead.

 

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Psalm 25:4-5 (The Passion Translation) – Lord, direct me throughout my journey, so I can experience your plans for my life. Reveal the life-plans that are pleasing to you. Escort me along the way, take me by the hand and teach me, for you are the God of my increasing salvation, I have wrapped my heart into yours.

 

Overcomers are Arising –

 

The Lord said, “My overcomers are arising. These are the ones who have continued to stand in faith to see the manifestation of My promises as they know I am faithful and they partner with me to see My plans come to pass. They have continued to obediently step out on My leading. They know who they are in Me and they have an intimate understanding of My character and My ways. I am highlighting what it is to be an overcomer as My overcomers will take much territory for My kingdom in the time ahead.”

 

Revelation 12:11 (NKJV) – And they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and they word of their testimony

1 John 4:4 (NKJV) – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

 

The Battle is the Lord’s –

 

The Lord went on to say, “My people will testify and say, ‘the battle is the Lord’s’ as they will see Me move on their behalf. They will partner with Me in battle but I will move on their stand of faith and their Spirit led intercession and use of spiritual weapons.”

 

No matter how intense the battle has been, you are not alone and God is fighting for you but we need to rely heavily on Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. The Lord is calling us to partner with Him and use our spiritual authority on the leading of the Spirit.

 

I saw the Lord coming in power and moving in the lives of His people. I also saw that as the people of God were waiting for the breakthrough to come, they were surrounded by supernatural peace and lifted and strengthened by the joy of the Lord. The scriptures ‘the joy of the Lord is your strength’ (Nehemiah 8:10) and ‘you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You’ (Isaiah 26:3) were booming around the people.

 

2 Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV) – “Do not be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV) – Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (NKJV) – For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds

 

Breakthrough and Bounty –

 

The Lord said, “The bridge to breakthrough and bounty is ahead for those who continue to walk the path I have for them and continue to look only to Me. This is a season of My justice where heavenly books are being opened and injustices overturned. My people will step into the next level of their destiny and will walk in a new level of freedom and joy. Breakthrough will be seen in many areas and ways. Long awaited promises will come to pass. Delay will be broken and My recompense will flow.”

 

The Lord is encouraging His people to continue to stand firm as breakthrough is ahead and His justice will be seen. The Lord is going to reward the walk of faith and obedience many have taken. The bounty they receive will be a gift from the Father as His justice is released into their situations and circumstances.

 

I saw the breath of God blowing on areas of people’s lives and I saw His people moving into new areas of increase in the season ahead. Many people have gone through a season of refining and preparation in order to enter the new place the Lord has prepared for them. They have been found faithful and have embraced the refining fire and great fruitfulness, advancement and blessing will be seen in their lives as the Lord leads them into the next stage of their destiny.

 

1 Corinthians 15:58 (The Passion Translation) – So now, beloved ones, stand firm and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) – And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Hebrews 11:6 |(NKJV) – But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 12:2 (The Passion Translation) – We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection.

 

 

Be encouraged the Lord is training your hands for war and you are emerging as an elite warrior. The Lord is opening new paths of destiny and increase to you and He is moving on your behalf as you partner with Him. Breakthrough and bounty will follow the battle and you are arising as an overcomer!
