As I sat with the Lord on the eve of the New Year and asked Him about the year ahead I heard Him say it would be a year of ‘Enlarged and Focused Vision’. The people of God will receive increased vision or revelation of the path or destiny the Lord has for them and the strategies to partner with the Lord in expanding kingdom territory. They will also be asked to focus their vision in a greater way on Jesus and the word of God through the scriptures. The Lord is calling His bride to unite in vision to see His kingdom advance and to see His name lifted high.

 

ENLARGED VISION –

 

I heard the Lord say, “My people need to ‘see’ and have heavenly perspective in order to more closely align and partner with Me. Spiritual sight and revelation is the first step, then obedience and faith follow. Many of My people are eager to walk in the paths of increase I have for them but they haven’t been able to step onto the new path as they are waiting for the release of strategic revelation on the way forward. I am expanding the spiritual sight of those who have been found faithful in the past season. Revelation is a spiritual key that unlocks paths of increase and prevents the enemy’s plans of delay and derailment. My people will receive keys of detailed revelation this year at strategic times. It will be a year of enlargement of territory for many but first will come enlargement of vision. Keys of revelation will be released at strategic times to unlock detailed steps they are to take. I am expanding the vision of My people so they may see My hand moving and orchestrating the path ahead. They will understand My times and seasons in a more detailed way and will see with greater kingdom perspective.”

 

In a vision I saw the field of vision of many people of God expand. Where they could previously only see a defined area, their circumference of vision greatly broadened and they could now see so much more. They were now able to see the bigger plan of God and they had greater spiritual sight and revelation on the ways the Lord was moving in their own lives, their ministries and across regions.

 

I also saw that some people had barriers to their field of sight or filters which were obscuring or distorting their sight and these were being removed. In the past season the enemy had tried to distort the vision of the people with regard to His plans and purposes but the Lord was releasing revelation on the schemes of the enemy and the Lord was bringing clarity of vision to His people.

 

Psalm 25:4-5 (TPT) – “Lord, direct me throughout my journey, so I can experience your plans for my life. Reveal the life-paths that are pleasing to you, Escort me along the way, take me by the hand and teach me, for you are the God of my increasing salvation, I have wrapped my heart into yours.”

 

Proverbs 29:18 (TPT) – When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.

 

KEYS OF WISDOM & REVELATION –

 

I saw the people of God being given keys of revelation however they were not given all at once but were released at strategic times. On one side of the key was written the word ‘revelation’ and on the other side was the word ‘wisdom’. I knew the Lord was showing me the people would not just receive strategic and detailed revelation but they would also receive divine wisdom to know how to steward and act on the revelation they received. I felt a caution and encouragement from the heart of God that His people were to have faith and rest in Him in the times between receiving the keys of wisdom and revelation as the keys would be released at the perfect time. They were not to step out in their own strength but only on His leading.

 

The Lord then told me to look at the keys more closely and I saw that the keys interlocked with each other and some keys were the same. The Lord was showing me that the revelation He releases will align with previous revelation and will align with his word. He is going to release confirmation to His people at strategic times as He is going to confirm His plans and purposes.

 

I saw some people pull out previous keys of revelation they had received in past years and they were then connecting these with the new keys they had received. The new keys were linking other keys. The people of God were receiving the revelation they needed to see the larger vision of the plan the Lord had for them and the strategy on how to step into the increase. This was leading them to a season of harvest and fulfilled promises.

 

Ephesians 1:17 (TPT) – I pray that the Father of Glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him.

 

FOCUSED VISION –

 

The Lord then said, “Not only is it a time of increased vision but of increased focus of vision as I am calling My people to walk the narrow path and I am calling them to greater focus on what is important in the kingdom. There will be a falling away of things that are not aligned with kingdom ways as the focus of My people is fine-tuned.”

 

In a vision I saw the people of God not only receive broadened field of vision as I saw previously, but now I saw they were receiving laser focus in their vision. This focus was on the things of God that were of paramount importance. The people of God were receiving heightened clarity of vision and were being intensely drawn to pursuit of the things of God, the word of God and their destiny in God.

 

Philippians 3:12 (TPT) – I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover.

 

Philippians 3:14 (NKJV) – I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

 

Hebrews 12:2 (TPT) – We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection.

 

Romans 8:5 (NKJV) – For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

 

Colossians 3:1-2 (NKJV) – If then you were raised with Christ, seek those thing which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things of the earth.

 

UNITED VISION –

 

More than ever before the Lord is calling His church to focus on what unites us, rather than what divides, and to focus on what advances the kingdom of God. The Lord is calling His bride to have a united vision to lift the name of Jesus high and to see His plans and purposes advanced and fulfilled. There is a faithful remnant arising who live to advance the kingdom, and as they unite there is multiplication and acceleration of God’s plans in the earth. As our spiritual vision is enlarged and we focus our sight on the kingdom we will unite in vision and partner with God to see His will established.

 

Psalm 133:1-3 (NKJV) – Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion, for there the LORD commanded the blessing – life forevermore.

 

PURPOSE OF VISION –

 

The enlarged vision the Lord is releasing, and the call to more focused vision, is for a purpose of more closely aligning and partnering with God at this strategic time in history. The Lord is calling us to know His times and seasons so that we can align with them. We are to have eyes to see the new way He is moving and to partner with Him in order for us to move into new territory and advance. Many people have gone through a season of refining and preparation in order to enter the new place the Lord has prepared for them to move into this coming year. The Lord is going to release new strategies for advancement but we will need to stay close to Him to hear His strategy and it will be important to only follow the strategy He gives. A season of harvest and manifested promises is ahead individually and corporately as the Lord moves on behalf of His people.

 

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) – To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

 

Psalm 126:5-6 (TPT) – Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessings and a harvest overflowing!

 

 

May 2019 be a year of enlarged and focused vision and may we unite in a common vision to see Jesus glorified and His will established in the earth
